      <title>Accidental Leaders and Managers programmes by Hyper Island</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;quot;Initiatives such as Hyper Island are crucial in the development of high quality digital creative professionals&amp;quot; Justin Pearse, Editor of New Media Age&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Inspiral is teaming up with the world&amp;#39;s leading digital media and leadership educator, &lt;a href="http://www.hyperisland.se/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Hyper Island&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; , to run two unique development programmes in Yorkshire &amp;amp; Humber between February and June of 2010. Hyper Island are widely regarded as the &amp;lsquo;Oxbridge of digital media training&amp;#39;, and this is a fantastic opportunity for the regions creative and digital indutries to access their unique brand of training and mentoring.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Accidental Leaders development programme&lt;/strong&gt; and the &lt;strong&gt;Accidental Managers training programme&lt;/strong&gt; will give the directors and managers of creative and digital businesses unique access to world class training services and offer a bespoke programme of support and mentoring. The Accidental Leaders is for company CEOs and founders, whilst the Accidental Managers is aimed at rising stars that are now or soon-to-be in management roles.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;img src="../../uploads/images/176hyper%20island%20programme%20in%20progress%20web.jpg?1262879268" alt="Hyper Island 2" /&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;&lt;em&gt;The Accidental Leader Program in Manchester was a great success, and we really &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;look forward to take this concept even further in Yorkshire and Humber. We have been sending our graduates to the UK for 14 years. Now it&amp;rsquo;s time for us to start educating the British industry on its own turf&lt;/em&gt;.&amp;quot; Mattias Hansson, CEO of Hyper Island &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Both programmes have limited spaces and selection is by application and interview. Each is heavily subsidised and successful applicants will need to pay a fee of either &amp;pound;995 for the Accidental Leaders or &amp;pound;895 for the Accidental Managers towards the cost of the programme.
